Class Types

We offer a variety of classes to suit all abilities and requirements:

Mat

This is a boutique class catering for mixed abilities.  With only 4-5 people per class I can really focus on you and give you a tailored Pilates mat workout. This class will improve your posture, tone muscles, increase flexibility and improve your core strength and stability.

We will occasionally use small equipment to add fun and challenge.

Pre/Post Natal

It is well known that Pilates is a great form of Pre/Post natal exercise.  The movements in these sessions are specifically designed to improve posture and core stability before, during or after pregnancy.

Reformer

This class is taught as a private/semi private session and is individualised to suit injury or enhance fitness. The session is carried out on a reformer which is uses spring resistance and gives a total body workout.

Rehabilitation

These sessions are tailored to your individual needs in order to enhance your recovery from illness or injury.  You can choose to either work on the reformer or on the mat, or a combination.

Equipment

In addition to the use of the reformer, these classes can also encompass the use of the Barrel, Pilates Chair, plus other specialist equipment, in order to enhance your workout.

Online

We recognise that in the Post-Covid world which we now live in, you may wish to work out from the comfort of your own home via Zoom.  This is likely to be a mat class, but can also include the use of a Reformer (if you are fortunate enough to possess one!) or other equipment.  If you are interested in virtual classes then please send me an enquiry.
